Seeding Success Fertiliser

    • High phosphorous content to encourage strong root growth
    • Low levels of fast-acting nitrogen with a controlled release of nutrients to help strong shoots to develop and support healthy growth over 8+ weeks
    • Added magnesium to assist in the production of chlorophyll, seed germination and nutrient absorption
    • NPK ratio: 6-10-8 + 20% MgO
      Initially the soil will be prepared for thriving growth with the premium granular fertiliser designed specifically to let new seedlings flourish without being outcompeted by the existing grass. The fertiliser is fast-acting but still has a controlled release to prevent lawn burn and extend the benefits over time.
      The Seeding Success Fertiliser is best applied with a handheld spreader to get an even application but can be applied by hand.

        The organic biostimulant develops root depth, density and microbiology in the soil while allowing greater nutrient absorption on the grass leaf. It provides the grasses with complex beneficial micronutrients and a balanced supply of amino acids. It encourages healthy shoot and root growth and significantly increase the mass of the root network and the density of the grass blades. The lawn will be invigorated and when used throughout the year it helps maintain excellent turf condition. 

        The Biostimulant Booster is best applied with a pressure sprayer for the most even application but is absolutely fine to apply using a watering can with a fine rose head.

        Our seed contains a high percentage of Tetraploid Ryegrass. This new seed technology has been used to create some truly exceptional playing surfaces and is one of the main reasons that many top football clubs now play on such superb quality pitches. In fact, it has been used extensively in the 2014 and 2018 Fifa World Cups.
        The seed is very fast to establish, it has great colour retention throughout the year (even in the drier months). It has a fantastic level of durability and exceptional disease resistance.
        The Stronger Roots Grass Seed can be spread by hand or using a handheld spreader.

        Mycorrhizal Seed Enhancer

        Mycorrhizae are essential for grass health, attaching to the roots, they can increase the surface area for nutrient and water uptake by over 300%.

        Bent, fescue and rye grasses rely heavily on mycorrhizae for survival in nature.

        Deeper Green Iron Sulphate Powder

        Iron sulphate has numerous benefits for lawns so it is an extremely useful product for all lawn enthusiasts.

        • Produces a rapid green-up of turf
        • Hardens turf
        • Helps to prevent lawn disease
        • When applied at higher rates it is known to cause moss to turn black and die very quickly (see below)

        • Dilute in water and apply using a watering can with a fine rose head, a pressure sprayer or a hose end dilutor

        **Due to recent changes in the law, products which contain iron sulphate can no longer be claimed to have control against moss. This is because any product which 'controls' moss is now classed as a herbicide, and this requires the product to have an expensive and complex approval. Due to this, we are unable to claim that this product will control moss; In spite of the fact that the product formulation has not changed since when it was used to control moss with very good results**
